  • exchange and terminal server on one box

I would like to know negative sides of running terminal server installed on Exchange 2003 (2003 server).
    Thx.

    Assuming Application Mode then:
    -Performance loss
    -Massive security risk
    -Local Logon for all users
-Application crashes in TS could affect other services
-Scary as hell for the administrator

    These are still valid:

you will probably need to install MSoffice on the serverr, which is a very highly NOT recommended thing to do on an Exchange server

Well.. Beside the security and perfomance issue... What will happen if you will need to reboot the TS due some issue?

The conclusion is very simple - TS need a unique TS server.
