  • prevent saving files in my documents folder

    Hello all:

We are in the process of deploying windows 2003 server std. edition for our thin client environment.

We would like to prevent users from saving their files (word, excel, etc.) in their respective my documents folder and instead save it in a common folder in the 'C' or 'D' drive.

Would like to know how this can be done.

    Thanks
    Neeraj

Folder Redirection is what you want.

should have plenty of information but here is some to get you started:

Normally you redirect the My Documents folder to the users personal drive i.e. U or H
