  • Session Directory with multiple farms

    hi guys

i want to configure Session directory to work with two farms of two (different)2003 entrprise TS servers.
    Where can i configure this?
In the group policy settings there are four items among which is the farm name, but you can give only one name.
if you use more than one farm, should you disable this setting and let session directory figure out which farm your session belongs to?

    thnx in advance

Re: Session Directory with multiple farms

You can set this at the GPO level or at the server level. If you set it at the GPO level then you will need a separate OU for each farm where you'll move the appropriate computer accounts, then create a GPO for each OU with the appropriate farm name. If you set it at the server level then leave your GPO setting unset, but you'll need to set each server manually. The server that you have running the Session Directory Service can manage multiple Session Directory databases so it will figure out who is on which server and connect them correctly.
