Is there anyway to copy the functionality of Remote Web Workplace to a Windows 2003 Standard network? If not, do you know of any alternative software that provides similar functionality?

    Thank You,

Remote Web Workplace? Is that the remote connectivity that comes with SBS and allows you to connect to your XP desktop or am I completely wrong?

If it is, then why not configure a Windows 2003 Terminal Server and allow users to connect to that server remotely and run RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) from there onto their XP machines.

Hope this is of some help

Well the point of RWW is that it is a web based feature where you just point and click on your computer name to be connected to it.

The reason why having them remote into the server and then remoting into their workstation is because we would have to buy unnecessary Terminal CALs for the server, it uses up valuable resources on the server, and I don't feel comfortable giving them that sort of desktop file access to our main server.

Iím sorry to reject your idea, but it was appreciative though!

Any SSL VPN product can help. 2x Application also offer the same option with one
        of their product.
