  • Disabling "concurrent" logon

    Hi, friends!

I have 50 TS users and only 25 TS Client Licences.
    There are 25 "concurrent" users.

If 26 th user attemting to logon (with one of 25 licenced users name) he droping out the user was connected with a same login name.

    How can I prevent this?
Is it possible to prevent login with the same "user name" without droping out "previous" user

    Best Regards

    1. A user name should map to a single human being. It's a basic security consideration.

    2. You need more licences if more than 25 users will be logging on concurrently.

      Re: Disabling "concurrent" logon

      I don't think so.
I think you need more licenses because "the user" is logging on from a different client device.

Thank You very muhch for reply!
But for this solution I have no need in Petri forum

        My TS is very "weak".

I have to change hardware for adding more users

I am asking about technical solution (if it possible, of course).
And certainty, I don`t looking for any illegal solution
The only thing I am looking for is "how to avoid interrupting for logged on user".

        Thanks in advance!

          Re: Disabling "concurrent" logon

The easy way is to go the active directory users and comuters -> Choose users that dont need access to the TS, and disable the option to use TS.
The next step is to option extra licenses.
