  • Terminal Server Redirect App data/Favorites/ Loop back processing

    Hi,

Quick bit of advice to see if there is a better way to do things:

We have users logging on to a terminal server, it's in it's own OU with loopback processing enabled, all the users have non mandatory roaming profiles, however they logon using a separate terminal server profile as per MS best practise, all this works great, however some of the application data:

    1.IE favorites
    2.application data\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.NK2

are needed in both environments, and need to be updated with changes/additons etc both ways.

Currently i'm using a logon script in the TS OU to manually copy the NK2 and favorites, and also a logoff script to copy them back to the roaming profile path so there available when logging on to a machine outside the TS OU.

Is there a cleaner way of doing this?, how are others getting round this problem.

    Thanks for any info
