  • Terminal session long log off...

    Hi to all...

The problem is while logging off terminal session... I takes much too long.
Establishing terminasl session is perfectly fast and working in session is ok... But when user tries to log off... it takes about 4-5 minutes.... Server is W2K3 Std, client is Windows XP SP2...

I had problems with long log on to domain (solved by configuring DNS properly), but this... I don't know what to do any more....

So what's in the event log during the logoff "period"????

Any red or yellow or anything at all during a controlled logoff (after hours)?

You do have UPHClean installed, yes? I put it on everything these days just to make sure my profiles close properly.
    Cheers,

    Rick

Only one TS account is making a problem... other accounts are working OK and I have noticed in TS Manager that only that user is not logging off from the session (it only disconnects from it)....

A user training opportunity or is it something else?
          Cheers,

              Problem solved....

On one client, there was an USB printer Lexmark z54 (shared on network). Sessions with that printer were ok before some time, but problems started to appear without any obevious reason.... Afterwards, all clients were afected with log off problem...
In Event viewer was no error that could point to printer driver or session....

After removing of drivers from server and client everything started to work ...

Maybe, some of critical updates or hotfixes caused a problem... dunno...
