  • More Web Connection parameters

    Hello everyone.
I am using TS some time now, but I am not accustomed to the Web Connection.
I have some applications that I need to make available for users outside the organization. For users inside I am using a TS servers' farm and it works good.
To solve the problem, I thought of using the Web Connection, and let the users get to the apps by entering a web page with links on it, and by clicking on different links will get them to different applications. The users don't have to deal with credentials or anything else. I want them to get to the application directly.
I looked for info on this forum and I found the page from MSDN with the parameters for the Web Connection.
What I did not found (and this is actualy the question) is how to deal with the credentials and how to run directly the application needed (two things that exist on the RDP client, but did not find them here).

    TIA.

    Re: More Web Connection parameters

To work with "TS Web Connection" you will need to open HTTP or HTTPS and RDP TCP 3389.
To use a secure methood please use VPN or SSL VPN or Citrix gatyway.

      Re: More Web Connection parameters

      Hi, Yuval.
Thanks for the details. I don't need (as it looks for now) a secured connection. On the contrary, I want the connection as simple as it can be (that's why I need to enter the credentials on my page, and not to expect from the user to do it).
      Any ideas?

1.Setup NAT from outside to the TS server.

        2. Create RDP connection file and save it on the user desktop with preconfigurations.

        Thats all
