  • domain gpo disappears after disabling local GPO processing

I assigned Windows update GPO on DC. Clients connect to defined WSUS server.
Today I disabled LOCAL GPO processing and on first rebooted machine found that Windows update is not anymore in RSOP.
Then I run RSOP on not rebooted machine and found that Windows Update winning GPO is Local GP. So it explains why this GP is not on the machine were Local GP processing was disabled.
Why it happens that Domain assigned GPO becomes Local (winning)?

pic2 is from the machine were LGP processing not applied yet

pic2 from machine were LGP processing did apply. No Windows Update at all.

    Sorry for bothering...
This GPO was linked to Workstations OU. And I checked Servers OU.
    So everything is OK.
Was messed up because of testing different methods of Conf Manager client distribution GPO and by Windows Upddate.
    Moderator, plz remove this thread.
