  • group policy management console (gpmc)

    I am using windows server 2003 sp2.

GPO isn't so straight especially now that am configuring WSUS,things to do with enforcing/filtering e.t.c are not so clear

when i run a gpupdate report.html command,i see some GPO objects are denied >empty.

A colleague suggested i install group policy management console (gpmc) from a windows server 2008 box

    from this link

pls let me know whether installing the above will enhance anything?

    any merits or demerits?

Only good things can come of that...

Make sure you copy gpedit.msc from syswow64 into system32 after the install or you can't edit them from the console...
