  • Problem with Local Admin GPO

    I have changed the local administrator password

    using GPO : Computer Configuration > Preferences > Control Panel Settings > Local User and Groups option

    It worked on windows 7 clients ,but not work for windows XP clients

    any suggestions plz

    I have windows 2008 R2 DC , domain level 2003 raised from 2000

    Check the Client Side Extensions for Group Policy Preferences have been installed on the XP clients (via Windows Update or preferably WSUS)

        Are they installed on the XP machines. If they are not, GPPs will not work
