  • gpo applied, script present, but cannot be executed

in event viewer of client machine I have an error (see attached).
the bat file is in the scripts folder on logon DC (replicated from other DC).
And the file contains the script.
The message says file not found.

    What is this?

Check your file extension. Make sure it is a .bat file not a .cmd file.

The script path specified in the GPO is c:\windows\sysvol\..g.p.o ..\script\batch.bat this is a DC local path. The cient cannot find c:\windows\sysvol\... locally.

The sript path should be a \\networkpath, like \\domain.local\sysvol\domain.local\..g.p.o ..\script\batch.bat
