  • Specific file to save

    Hi Guys,

We have W7 for workstations and 2008 R2 for servers. We're trying to lock up workstations for our users. They can open/save files to/from their flash/thumb drives but when they try to save mp3 files, an error" This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect..." GPO kicks in. Not sure why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you want them to save MP3s or not?

Have you set up FSRM (File System Resource Manager) file screening on the servers?

yes, we're okay to save mp3 onto the flash drives. no, i haven't setup FSRM.
the same error appears when saving other formats but it continues, however with mp3, it just doesn't continue. any ideas? thanks
