  • GPO on Terminal Users Without Affecting Desktop Users

    Hello,

I cannot figure out how to apply gpo's for users connecting to a terminal server, without affecting them when they logging on to their desktops.

i dont want only computer configuration pgo's.

different gpo's, for same users, on different computers...

    can someone help me??

    thanx,
    guy.

Well.. if a user-based gpo is applied to a user, it applies to a user..

you vcan do it with computer GPOs, but not user gpos.

Re: GPO on Terminal Users Without Affecting Desktop Users

You need to create a GPO and link it to the TS OU and configure the user settings that you want applied and configure loopback policy processing in the GPO in Replace mode. This will then apply the TS OU GPO settings to the users when they log on to the TS.

When they log on to their workstation they'll get their normal user GPO settings and when they log on to the TS they'll get the TS GPO user settings.
