  • GPO with static IP

    hi guys,

I'm using static IP scheming throughout the network, its about 90 machines.
I want to disable "use automatic configuration script" option in Internet explorer on all the machines as it is already configured on all the computers to use ISA server 2004 when I joined this company.

can I use GPO to do that? I know I can do it through Group Policies but I want to know if I can use GPO in static IP environment?

    Thanks

    Re: GPO with static IP

    Hi,

if the network is not workgroup then you can use GPO. Doesn't matter if it's static IP or dynamic.
    Thanks & Regards

So you can use a GPO as the setting (in IE) is nothing to do with the LAN setting
