    Hello All

We currently use net use within a login script to map drives for users across our network.

Can we add the a regpol command to the same bat script such as:

    regpol \\servername\favorites.reg

to import the setting to get favorites redirected to a users H:\ area

The key I am trying to import is as follows:

    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Us er Shell Folders\Favorites

    = H:\

    Or something along those lines?

    Any ideas most welcome

    Re: Regpol

If this helps have written a vb script which seems to do what I want it to do

    Dim WSHShell
    Set WSHShell = CreateObject ("WScript.Shell")
    WSHShell.RegDelete("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mic rosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Favorites")
    WSHShell.RegWrite "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Favorites", "H:\IE Favorites", "REG_EXPAND_SZ"

      Hi fanturex

If you'd have looked one post down from yours you would have found a very similar answer... but thanks for a vb script alternative...
