  • test gpo. pc on subnet1 in OU on subnet2

    Never did it before...
Is it OK (for GPO testing purposes) to move a computer that is on the subnet1 to OU on different site (subnet2).
    Distribution point is on DC1(subnet1).
GPO will be applied to OU on different site. All computers in this OU are currently down.

    Thanks.

There is no actual connection between site (physical topology unit) and OU (logical topology unit). If I understand your question correctly (distribution point?), you need to deploy software by GPO. As long as there is network (IP layer) and logical (DNS/netbios and allow permissions defined) connectivity between the PC and the server hosting the file share, it will be just fine.
You should take into account the network traffic generated over the WAN.

Consider using RSoP in the future.
