  • Using a GP to delete local files

I'm trying to create a new GPO to delete some files off local users C:\windows\system32\GroupPolicy........

My delete command has the name of the file with *.* /s a the end but I'm wanting clarification on what other minimal settings I can get away with to ensure it runs for all domain users, e.g. linked 'location', etc?

    Thanks

GPO, (User Configuration) set to delete and delete statement as C:\Windows\System32\GroupPolicy\test*.* /s

I've not set any Scope 'Links' and set the 'Security Filtering' to Domain Admin only to see if it would delete those test files in a sub folder of GroupPolicy
