  • User's Group Policy setting also Implemented on Administratorin

    Hi All,

My problem is when ever i apply group policy it implements on User as well as Administrator. E.g when i deny user access to Control panel from
    "User Configuration " .
That is also implemented for administrator. I wanna say when login as administrator , Administrator also don't have access to Control Panel. So How to Solve out this Problem.

    Thanking In Advance

You can change the security permissions of the GPO object and add Domain Admins group with "Deny: Apply GPO".

        Hi ancient_triumph,

I googled "How to change permission for a GPO" and it came up with couple of links. You will be able to find most of the how to's or concepts with Google.

This is the how-to doc from Microsoft.

Also I would like to know who that "administrator" is in the context? Workstation admin or domain one? And are you applying the GPO at the domain level?

        Regards,
