  • GPO to Block Specific Files Extensions

Hi is there a GPO that does this? Because Some of our employees are saving mp3 files that are eating up my file server. So im planning to restrict .mp3 files in order for my file servers space to be utilized properly.

    Thanks

I don't think GPO is what you're looking for.

If you're running 2003 R2 or later then you can use File Server Resource Manager to restrict file types.
