  • Lockdown IE local gpo

    Hello,
I need to lockdown bunch of desktop for home users.

All what should be enabled IE shortcut that will bring login page to VDI.
A while ago I did it on Thin clients that had English Windows PE.
Now I have to do it for laptiops with French Windows XP sp3.

The issue that there are no some entries in french GPO
For example Enforce Full Screen, but I have Disable Full screen option (both should be activated. I found first one in registry but after enabling this I have all menus (File Edit etc). So I have full screen locked and F11 disabled.

How to disable all the menus? I didn't have this issue in English version I guess.
I will try to "play" with it more. But may be somebody has an answer.

    Thx.
    Michael.

      Allen,
thank you very much. I just forgot about this utility.
Sure it is way better than just playing with local GPO.

I have an issue with allowed websites so still cannot reach my main goal.
But I found a fresh thread on ms social forum for SteadyState with related issue.
People experience the problem with some settings...

      Thanks again.
      Michael.
