  • is this possible using gpo

    greetings to all
i have a DC and all client log on through DC.
I would like the users be able to change the date and time .
is this a good option letting change date and time by users.
and i would like the date format be dd/mm/yyyy in all computers ??
how can i achieve this in a domain environment.
    i'm new to server os.
    thanks

Re: is this possible using gpo

To change the system time the users need the Change the system time
    (SeSystemTimePrivilege) privilege.
To asign this privilege to certain users via GPO, look into:
    Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local policies\User Rights Assignment

As for the date/time format check if this suggestion works: http://help.lockergnome.com/windows2...ict442369.html
