  • Adding trusted sites by GPO

I have 15-20 stations or so that I need to modify with GPO. I need to push out a change within IE. That will add a specific url to "Trusted Sites" and make custom level with certain features enabled. Can I do this by gpo?? So I donít have to touch each station.

If I recall correctly. You set up a machine with your desired settings, using GPMC on the same machine create a new policy. User Configuration->Windows Settings->Internet Explorer Maintenance->Security->Properties of Security Zones and Content Ratings. Import the Security Zones and Privacy settings.

It's a bit of a PITA, because you need to do it from a workstation as you can't just add a list of sites, you need to import it from the machine you create the GPO on, and you can't do this on a server because of the security settings.
