  • Login Box should not show user ID.

    In windows Server 2003 I want that the user name should not appear in the login screen/box. Suppose the network administrator loginto the system i.e "administrator" and he logoff then he can see see his name again on the box.

    Please let me guide that which policy should I apply that the name should be also clear in the login screen/box when the user logoff from the system

    1. Expand the Computer Configuration node, the Windows Settings node, and the Security Settings node.
    2. Expand the Local Policies node, and then click Security Options.
    3. In the right pane, enable the Interactive logon: Do not display last user name
    Either edit an existing Group policy or create a new one linked at a Domain level
