  • New GPO - Windows NT administrative template are loaded by default

    Hi,
when I edit a new group policy object created with GPMC and I click on Administrative templates, also the Windows NT template are shown.
Furthermore, when I click on Add\Remove template the templates list is empty.
I want that new policy load only the standard templates.

In the attachment you can view the problem.

    I am using Windows 2003 SP2 R2.

Most odd - I've not seen that behaviour before. Where are those template files located?

All the adm are located on C:\Window\Inf.
If you browse this folder you can see all the adm files.
On another Windows 2003 AD domain, if i click on Administrative Template I can see the list with the 4 templates:
      conf.adm
      inetres.adm
      system.adm
      wmplayer.adm
      wuau.adm

The windows nt templare are not loaded by default.
