  • Advise on setting up OUís for departmental separation/access.

I have ten departments that require access to different drives and I would like some advice on the best way to set them up. I would like to keep the number of OUís to a minimum so can I use the same OU for some and use ifmember to split them out.

    Any advise appreciated.

I'd recommend against using IFMEMBER, instead create one OU for each department. Why are you opposed to doing this? Using conditional testing, or *any* other needless commands in a script will only serve to make the script run slower, while providing the same functionality.
