  • enabling Quicklaunch bar for users

hey ppl, I have a .bat file running as the 'User' Logon script which contains the settings below:

    del "c:\documents and settings\%username%\application data\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch\*.*" /f /q

    copy "\\<server>\Student\sllab\QuickLaunch\*.*" "c:\documents and settings\%username%\application data\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch\"

I have this gp pointing to other OU's and it's working. It's just this one ou that's giving me a problem. I ran gpupdate and also check with gpresult and it's all pointing to the right location. Is there a policy I'm overlooking? I've also read that if 'Do not display any custom toolbars in the taskbar' is enabled it will prevent Quicklaunch from showing up. I have that as 'Not configured'. Any help on this is appreciated
