  • Hiding mapped drives

I've been trying to do this on a test setup for quite a number of hours now

I've created an custom ADM to do it and imported it into GP and it appears fine. I then change the settings and do a gpupdate /force on both the server and then the test machine. Nothing changes.....

I've tested the registry key that it's supposed to be changing and this hides the drive as soon as I reboot the machine!!

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Here's the ADM I'm using.

    Re: Hiding mapped drives

All sorted now Turns out that none of the GP settings were being replicated to the second DC and therefore weren't being applied to the workstations. Now all the settings are being applied as well as the new settings for hiding drives
