  • IE7 proxy settings

    Hi all,
I am trying to configure proxy settings on Internet explorer 7 by using group policy. I download adm tempelate. In those tempelate I have defined home page, search preferences, proxy settings etc. I have done gpupdate on client side. Even restart client computer but changes on IE 7 are not taking effect. If I do gpresult it shows that group policy has been applied but still browser settings are missing. Is anyone had same sort of experience? how did you rectify it? Thanks in advance

      Re: IE7 proxy settings

If you are running windows defender or other antispyware apps i would check these. I would also check the userenv log as well as your application logs for any issues.

            Re: IE7 proxy settings

            I found the solution
The users that do not have group policy settings applied to them. Their profile was corrupted. I fix the profile by same old method ( delete the profile from c:\windows\documents and settings and relogin user back). This method fixed the problem
