  • Two GPOs running two VBScripts- the latter doesn't run

    I've created two GPOs, each runs a VBScript set in the User Configuration\Windows Settings\Scripts\Logon section.

    Depending on the OU, I apply GPO 1 and GPO 2. GPO 2 adds more drive letter redirections to those in GPO 1.

    If run without GPO 1, GPO 2 works. When GPO 1 runs GPO 2 does not. It seems that you can not define more than one VBS script in the Scripts\Logon section using multiple GPOs- All Logon scripts must reside in one GPO. Can someone verify this for me?

    If policy Inheritance is not blocked,
    then both scripts from parent GPOs and from it direct GPO should run.

    What probably is the case here,
    The second script tries to create mappings that already exist and errored out.

    To resolve this, add error handling in both script for the mappings :
