  • Lock screen resolution settings

I work at a University where we have some CRT monitors. Unfortunately, some students use the monitors at higher resolutions, but lower refresh frequency, which is very annoying for some people. The problem is that when a student changes the resolution, the next user who uses the computer keeps the previous resolution.
Is there any way to lock the screen resolution setting, or set it by user?

    Thank you!

    Re: Lock screen resolution settings

Off the top of my head, and I can't test this idea right now, but there is a GPO to prevent access to any control panel applet you choose. You should prevent access to the Display applet and the user should not be able to change stuff. I think it's in User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel, if I remember correctly.
