  • IE6 - Send Page

In IE6 on the ‘tools’, ‘mail & news’ menu is ‘read news’ ‘read mail’ both are stopped by the software restriction policy stopping outlook express.

    The problem I’m having is.
On the ‘tools’, ‘mail & news’ menu, there is a ‘send page’, ‘send link’ , and ‘new message’ buttons. When a student clicks any of these for the first time, a window opens so the user can set up a new email account, when this is done a new email message is presented. The look of the new email message is the same as outlook express.
We do not want this to happen for the OU ‘students’.
Is there is a group policy to stop this form happening? Is it possible to disable the ‘Tools’ menu (there is nothing that students need to access in it) for all users in the student OU?

We have a windows 2K3 domain and XP Pro clients.

    Thanks in advance (again)
