  • Delete cached copies of roaming profiles

    Hi

I have set group policy ‘delete cached copies of roaming profiles’ in ‘computer config, admin templates, system, user profiles’ to enabled.

I logon and logoff as a test user. I then logon as admin and check but the profile is still there.
I did ensure all profiles were deleted before the test.

I ran ‘gpupdate /force’ after changing the group policy, I also rebooted the PC.

    Any thoughts?

Also, I ‘m sorry if this has been posted before. Is there a logon / logoff script that will delete any profiles still left on the PC, assuming I can get the above to work?

I have used delprof, but doing it one by one on 300 pc is not much fun

    Many thanks

    try running
    Code:
    gpresult /v
on a workstation that has failed and see what it says.

It should tell you whether the policy was applied at all, and why.
    Best wishes,
    PaulH.
