  • Server 2003 add custom shortcut of all users

    Hi All,

    I am scratching my head on how to do what I would think something simple.

    I have a Server 2003 Std edition domain controller. For all the users in the domain when they log on to a computer I want a shortcut to appear on the start menu that links to a custom website for support. I don't want the shortcut to be in internet explorer favorites, I just want it to be on the start menu.

    Has anyone tried to do this before. I have searched and searched here, google and technet but I cannot seem to find anything.

    Thanks in advance.

    Change:
    strPath = objShell.SpecialFolders("userprofile") & "\Start Menu\"

      Create a blank text file, paste in the code. Rename the file with a .vbs extension and add it to your gp logon script.
