  • Automatic Scavenging of stale rec

    Hello Team,

I have an integrated DNS. I enabled the Automaic Scavenging of stale records to 30days on my corporate DNS server. but I come to find out that I have a lots of garbages on my DNS records with old computer records etc.. it doesnt seem to works.

is there anything else I need look for? do I need to set the same thing on my remote DNS servers? even though they are in the same forest and using the same DNS?

    Thanks,
    HN

I ran a reports to show how many computer node is registered in my DNS. and it show me there are many old records can go back as old as a couple of years.
or some old computer name which were taken offline 6months-1year ago and it still show on the database.
