  • DNSCMD Enumerate a zone

We have 2003 SP2 and this is the issue we are seeing, "You cannot delete DNS PTR records that contain uppercase characters in Windows Server 2003" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842127, however. We are unable to delete just three DNS records that are in there. I would like to export the list and modify (as suggested on the KB but I've tried to enumerate the reverse look up zone and I keep getting errors. I am trying to look at the reverse zone (172.26.0), which is what keeps populating.

    Syntax: dnscmd server.com /enumrecords .0.26.172.in-addr.arpa > c:\file.csv

I could delete the zone and repopulate it but I can't seem get the export correctly. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
