  • Reverse Lookup Zone

    Hi,

We are planning to change our corporate network's subnet mask from /24 to /23, in order to allocate more IP addresses.

How do I configure the reverse lookup zone to include the newly allocated IP addresses? At the moment it is 20.20.172.in-addr.arpa, do I need to create another zone for 21.20.172.in-addr.arpa?

    thanks...

    Re: Reverse Lookup Zone

or you could create 20.172.in-addr.arpa and move them over ?
    either option is suitable.

      Re: Reverse Lookup Zone

      Thanks,

Ended up creating another zone - 21.20.172.in-addr.arpa.
It's already populating, so I guess everything is OK.
