  • DNS Redirection

I have been asked to setup a DNS Redirection on our server to point at a given sub domain and two IP addresses for a DNS server.

Under 2003 one would open dnsmgmt - right click the server - Properties - click on the Redirection tab - click on new etc.

However the same process is not visible on my SBS2008 - where has it gone - what am I missing here?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you mean Conditional Forwarders? The container is in the DNS Console under Conditional Forwarders assuming thats what you mean.

      Re: DNS Redirection

      Hi,

You can do it either by creating delegation to subdomains, or using stub zones, using conditional forwarders as mentioned by SH.
      Thanks & Regards
