  • Multiple MX records with same priority

Our mail is hosted by godaddy, I have sbs 2008 with exchange server. I want to move everyone to our own exchange server but first I want to test it. I added an mx record that points to our exchange server and gave it the same priority as the mx record provided by godaddy. Will an email sent to use go to both servers?

No!!! It will act as round robin.
If you want to test your setup, telnet to your MX record hostname.

No.. which ever is hit first if both has same priority, otherwise you can lower the preference of the mx to be hit first.
        Thanks & Regards
