  • DNS Reverse Lookup zones

    Hi all,

    I need some help.
Recently I change IP addresses in my LAN. From 192.168.0.0/24 to 10.207.42.0/23. I also change domain address on my server and DNS works fine like before. But in Reverse Lookup zones there is 192.168.0.x subnet, can I simply change to new network 10.207.42.x or shoul I create new Reverse Lookup zones. Should I facing any errors changing this?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: DNS Reverse Lookup zones

What do you have running on the 192. subnet that needs the Reverse Zone? Personally I would kill it and create a new Zone for the 10.207.42 subnet, but that is just me though I can see no logical reason for keeping the old Zone. It is after all and Internal IP range.
