  • Change DNS in DHCP Server

Could anyone here teach me how to change the DNS IP in an already configured and running DHCP server? Thanks in advance.
Mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open!

Re: Change DNS in DHCP Server

    1. Open the DHCP Console.
    2. Open your Server.
    3. If applicable open the IPv4 or IPv6.
    4. Open the relevant scope.
    5. Click on the Scope Options.
    6. Click on the 006 DNS Servers option, right click and select properties.
    7. Higlight the unwanted IP address and click remove.
    8. Insert the new IP address and click add.
    9. Click Apply then OK.

    Job is done.

This is the DNS servers assigned to the clients?
Just change it in scope or server properties and wait for clients to renew
If you know it will happen in the near future, reduce the lease length first so they pick it up quickly
