  • DHCP Server Callout DLL for MAC Address based filtering

    I am using 32 bit Server 2003 R2 SP2 Standard. I installed DHCP Server Callout DLL for MAC Address based filtering some time ago and it was working. I had removed the MAC addresses in MAClist.txt. I want to return to using it. Ive added MAC addresses to that file as such:
    MAC_ACTION = {ALLOW}
    0123456789ab
    0123456789ac
    0123456789ad
    When I restart the DHCP server service, I do not get a 1033 event. There is nothing in MacFilterCalloutErrorLog.txt and nothing new in MacFilterCalloutInfoLog.txt. The registry parameters are correct. I cannot uninstall and reinstall because it is not listed in add/remove. Any help would be appreciated.

    you can't uninstall/reinstall - but you could just re-run the installation, right? or does it bomb out ?

      On Team DHCP's blog, they say to use add/remove. I didnt try reinstalling over the top of this one because I dont want to muck it up.

        I repped you just cause you provided a link to something cool, that I should remember to put in my own knowledge base !

        Have a look and see if the dll file is in the system32 directory like it should be?

              Here's another good one:

              http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...8VS.85%29.aspx

              The CalloutEnabled key was set to 0. Changed it to 1 and I got my 1033.
