  • Problems after changing admin password

    Hi,

One of the IT admins in our company changed the administrator password straight forward without thinking which considerations must be taken before doing it.
When I posted a question on this issue the guys from the forum told me , I must check first which services rely on the administrator account and maybe create user for each service.
So now I'm experiencing some problems.

one of the errors I got form the time he change it is
on the system log(dc- 2003 srv):

    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: LSASRV
    Event Category: SPNEGO (Negotiator)
    Event ID: 40960
    Date: 27/08/2006
    Time: 13:43:38
    User: N/A
    Computer: EXCHANGE
    Description:
The Security System detected an authentication error for the server ldap/exchange.domain.com/[email protected] The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "The attempted logon is invalid. This is either due to a bad username or authentication information.
    (0xc000006d)".

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
    Data:
    0000: 6d 00 00 c0 m..

Does someone has an idea how to fix it?

    thanks

Re: Problems after changing admin password

Do you have some kind of backup or AV software that is accessing Exchange with Administrator credentials ?
