  • migrating 03 exchange domain to another domain

Running srvr 03 std and exchange 03 and I am in the process of migrating to another srvr03t and exch03 trusted domain. Migrating the email and such is the easy part but I don't want to go to each client and change the mail server name.

Is there a better easier way?

You give quit less info, so make sure you read the announcement first and give as much info as you can give.

    Ok to make as start:

keep the old server online for a few weeks.
Outlook will automattically finds the new Exchange server (depending of the outlook version) using the Global Catalog.

If he finds it, outlook will change his profile.

Make sure you test it with a few mailboxes.

just a warning: Make Sure all you're users don't use outlook or OWA when moving.
