  • Logging User Login/Logout Time

A request has come from upper management for a weekly report of user login/logout time onto their systems. I am looking for the easiest way to generate a weekly report for this. I had a few ideas:
    • Script that writes to a text file the username and time
    • Local Policy Security Audit Logging

Those are the only two ideas I could come up with. Does anyone have any recommendations for implementation of something like this?

    Couple of question:

    1) how many DCs do you have ?
    2) do you have W2K3 or W2K DCs ?
