  • w2k server not PDC, but users auth against it,

    hello
have one 2k box, was the pdc, then added a secoundary machine 2k3,
Changed over all FSMO to the win2k3 box,
but running set in cmd on a users machine still says that they are logging into the 2k server.

Also on the 2k3 server sysvol and netlogon aren't shared, so i am looking at some sort of replication error there?

    Big thanks for help!!

edit - opps meant to be they are still logging into the 2k box

Re: w2k server not PDC, but users auth against it,

Is the 2K box still a DC??

BTW there are no PDC's and BDC's in 2K. All DC's are multi-master and all hold a writable copy of the AD database.
