  • One profile cannot log in to the domain

I have an Active Directory windows 2003 network. On a particular workstation, when I try to log on using a particular user, the log on script does not seem to run, I get no mapped drives and when I try to access resources across the network, I am asked to authenticate.

When I use a profile that was never on the workstation, it seems to log on fine.

I tryed deleting the particular profile, copying the working profile to the not working profile, but this did not work.

Is there a way to "purge" a user profile from a machine including all group policy objects etc...

    Thanks in advance.

Try removing the profile from here

Right Click My Computer and select Properties.
    Click on the Advanced Tab.
Click on the button Settings under the heading User Profiles.
    Delete the relevant profile.
