  • Web application requires access to AD....

    Hi Guys,

We have a scenario here at work, that consists of a web-application running on a server outside our organisation which requires access to our AD for user validation.

I have some worries by just giving access to 389/636 LDAP/LDAPS thinking that the app has write access to AD.

Is there a way to make readonly access throu LDAP/LDAP ? and how ?

Or is it possible to setup a server running ADLDS and make ReadOnly access to this instead ??

If someone has a solution - please setup a to do list for me.

    Help is really appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

How about a RODC VM running at the organisation premises in question.
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

Exactly what you need. All that will be required is for that server to have access to your organisation.
