    Hi everyone,
    I need to create a ris server using server 2003. Create and install images of windows xp, office xp, and norton anti-virus 10.
    As a novice I need help with the best way to do this and if possible complete the project in 10 days or less.

      There are plenty of pit falls with RIS. We run RIS here but it takes a bit of management and a lot of preperation and internet research to get it right! I suggest lots of reading on the subject first. When it works... it is great... when it doesn't.... its a pain in the bum!

        Installed RIS and it worked straight up. No problems until I enabled the second NIC on the server and eventually caught the PXE-E53 error on the client. RIS does NOT like multi-homed machines.
        1 1 was a racehorse.
        2 2 was 1 2.
        1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
        2 2 1 1 2
