  • Windows Active Directory Resource assigned to Wrong Identity

    Hi,
I have two users, both have different login but their AD account is somewhat same..for eg
    User1 has login---User_1
User2 has login--User_2 but in AD they have like CN=PQR\,XYZ.....

so perfomring operation on one user is resulting the operation on other which should not be the case.

So if anyone has any idea how to resolve this.. plz suggest

    Appreciate your help

What version of Server (ergo AD) are you running?
      1 1 was a racehorse.
      2 2 was 1 2.

      2 2 1 1 2

Actually i am using Sun identity management. Someone has perfomed a disable operation on one user but it inturns disabled the other one. When we investigated we found that this could be due to their matching DN but not sure why it is causing this.

distinguished names are unique. I dont see how you can have a "matching DN"

It sounds to me like your identity management solution is misconfigured
